As a father of a young family himself, Daniel particularly enjoys caring for children and families. He can help with childhood illnesses, growth and development, preventive health and the many questions that come with raising children.
Men's health
Many men put off seeing their GP until something is wrong. Daniel has a particular interest in men's health, including preventive health checks and the health concerns that arise at different stages of life.
Preventive health
Good general practice isn't only about treating illness. Daniel enjoys working with patients to identify health risks early and helping them make realistic decisions that can improve their long term health.
Minor procedures
Daniel also enjoys the procedural side of general practice and can assess a range of concerns that may be suitable for minor procedures within the clinic.
An award winning GP with strong local roots
Daniel graduated from Deakin University and developed broad clinical experience working across hospitals and general practices in Geelong and Warrnambool.
He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2023 and was awarded the Richard Gutch Medal for achieving the highest results in Victoria in his RACGP Fellowship examinations.
While his academic achievement is exceptional, Daniel's approach to general practice is straightforward: listen carefully, understand what matters to the patient, explain things clearly and work together on a sensible plan.
More than just today's appointment
One of the things Daniel values most about general practice is continuity of care.
Rather than simply treating one problem at one appointment, he enjoys developing long term relationships with his patients and understanding their health in the context of their family, work and life.
